CARBINE. Cal. 30-30 Win. S# 2463026. Bbl. 20". Model 94 lever action carbine mfg. by Winchester in 1960. Left side of the bbl. is marked with the Winchester trademark logo, followed by the model and cal. designations. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall. Single band fastened plain wood forearm and straight grip buttstock with flat checkered blued steel buttplate. Ramped, hooded, and aluminum beaded blade front sight with dovetailed elevation adj. rear sight. CONDTION: fine, with metal components retaining bountiful amounts of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting a few spots of marginal edge wear, with some scattered spots and patches of dried grease present overall. Mirror bore, exhibiting some small scattered spots of light pitting, while retaining sharp and well defined rifling throughout. Proper manual mechanics. Wood furniture shows a few superficial marks and small impressions from handling and storage, but otherwise remains sound and presents nicely. An extremely attractive Pre-64 Winchester Model 94 carbine that would be difficult to upgrade from. (26-977/MLW). CURIO. $700-1,100.
