SHOT PISTOLS. 1) Allen & Thurber Bar Hammer Percussion. Cal. 30. S# 976. 2 1/4” octagon to round bbl. with faceted transition & smooth bore. Round action with center mounted bar hammer is lightly scroll engraved. Left side of hammer is marked “ALLEN’S PATENT”. Bag type walnut grips. CONDITION: gray metal shows spots of light pitting. Grips show light wear & handling marks. Sound mechanics. Dark bore. 2) Allen & Wheelock Marked Bar Hammer Percussion. Cal. 38. S# 365. 3 1/4” octagon to round bbl. with faceted transition & rifled bore. Top bbl. flat is Allen & Wheelock marked. Left side of center mounted bar hammer is marked with April 19, 1845 patent date. Round body action has sprays of scroll engraving. Bag type walnut grips. CONDITION: faded gray metal shows scattered light pitting. Refinished grips, left panel shows darkening. Sound mechanics. Dark lightly pitted bore. 3) Allen & Wheelock Percussion. Cal. 32. S# 157. 8 1/2” octagon to round bbl. with facet transition & rifled bore. Round body action with center mounted hammer. Bag type Walnut grips. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: 2 cavity bullet mold. CONDITION: metal finish has largely faded to gray showing scattered spots of very light pitting. Grips have worn & peeling finish with handling marks. Sound mechanics. Lightly pitted bore. (01-28875/DS). ALL ANTIQUE. $1,000-1,500.
