FIREARMS AND AMERICAN STANDARD REVOLVERS. 1) Moore’s Patent Firearms Co. Front Loading Revolver. Cal.32 teat-fire. S# 6576. 3 1/4” round bbl. with Moore’s markings. Semi-circular front sight. Right side has hooked extractor. Round 6 shot front loading cylinder. Blue bbl. & cyl. with silver finished engraved brass action. Spur trigger. Walnut birds head grips. An attempt to circumvent the Rollin White patent about 30,000 were mfg. 1864-1870. CONDITION: blued parts have faded to gray showing some light pitting. Brass frame retains 75% silver. Grips show wear & marks. Sound action. Bore has lightly worn rifling showing some pitting. 2) National Arms Front Loading Revolver. Cal. 32 teat-fire. S# 29111. 3 1/4” round bbl. Mfg. by Moore’s, bbl. is “National Arms Co.” marked. Round front loading 6 shot cyl. Engraved brass frame with hook extractor on the right side. Walnut birds head grips. CONDITION: gray metal shows some very light pitting. Brass frame has traces of plating. Functioning mechanics. Good bore. 3) American Standard Tool Co. Pocket, Mfg. by Manhattan. Cal. 22 RF. S# 5558. 3 1/8” tip-up octagon bbl. with rib with semi-circular sight. Roll engraved 7 shot cylinder. Blued bbl. & cyl. Silver finished brass frame. Spur trigger. Square butt Walnut grips. CONDITION: metal has faded to gray. Cyl. retains 70% visible scene with spots of pitting. Brass frame has 70% nickel. Grips show light wear & marks. Sound action. Moderately pitted bore. 4) Manhattan First Model, Second Variation Pocket. Cal. 22 short. S# 2835. 3 1/8” bbl. with rib & semi-circular sight. Sides of bbl. are scroll engraved. Arc motif markings at breech end of bbl. Round 7 shot cyl. with stop on the frame top strap. Rounded iron frame has circular brass side plate. Square butt. Walnut grips. Production of Manhattan & American Standard revolver began in 1860 and ended in 1873. CONDITION: metal finish has faded to gray. Grips show wear & handling marks. Cyl. strap does not retract properly into the top strap. Pitted bore with worn rifling. (01-28873/DS). ALL ANTIQUE. $1,500-2,000.
