CARTRIDGE POCKET REVOLVER. Cal. 32. S# 3343. Originally made as combination percussion/cartridge use, unique alteration to cartridge only by replacing loading assembly with central cylinder pin and addition of unique designed safety of small thumb bolt on bottom of frame which seats to round slots cut into cylinder between chambers. 8" overall, 3.5" octagonal barrel marked "J.REID N.Y. CITY", burled walnut grips. CONDITION: very good overall as configured, metal is mottled gray, chambers still threaded for nipples. Mechanics fine, good rifled bore.
