UNDERHAMMER PISTOL. Cal. 28. NSN. Pistol is 6.5" overall with 3" 2-stage barrel, unmarked but identical to several Massachusetts made like Gibbs Tiffany, brass shrouded teardrop grip frame. Housed in shadow box with key wound silver pocket watch, 1865 dated 2-cent, 1865 dated half dime, and 1862 dated Indian head penny, pipe bowl, tobacco pack, bullets, caps, stamp, 3-cent fractional currency, brass eagle insignia, 3 reunion badges, small bottle, etc, background of colored woodcut Bull Run battle scene. CONDITION: pistol is good, mechanics fine, clear bore, watch is complete, couple balls have come loose. PROVENANCE: Conestoga Auctions, lot 767, 1-18-2014. (01-28069/JS). ANTIQUE. $400-600.
