Cal. 31. S# 560. Bbl. 3". Silver post front sight. Fixed rear sight. Rare 2nd Model Remington Beals percussion revolver with less than 1000 made. Checkered grips. CONDITION: grips shows scattered checkering wear, staining, ding, handling marks & a long repaired crack on right panel. Metal is an overall dull gray patina with scattered light pitting, oxidation, handling marks & edge wear. Action is functional when hand cycled. Bore has good rifling with scattered pitting & oxidation. PROVENANCE: Hermann Historica 4-20-2005 Auction lot 1867. (01-28072/MJC). ANTIQUE. $1,500-2,500.
