Cal. 22 S. S# 57508. Bbl. 3 3/16". Round blade front sight. Fixed rear sight. Matching assembly numbers on bbl., cyl. & grip frame. 2nd issue No. 1 with three patent dates on cyl. Last date is December 1860. 7-shot cyl. Brass frame. Blued finish. Smooth hardwood grips with matching numbered right panel. CONDITION: grips show an older added finish with some dings, handling marks & finish loss. Metal retains 30-40% original blue with bbl. being a gray patina, scattered oxidation & handling marks. Action is functional when hand cycled. Bore shows scattered pitting & oxidation but strong rifling. PROVENANCE: James D. Julia 4/27/1998 Auction Lot 896. (01-28082/MJC). ANTIQUE. $500-800.
