Lot 2567 SHOTGUN RELEASE TRIGGER ASSEMBLIES PLUS

SUPER X1 TRIGGER ASSEMBLIES AND PARTS. All items function as designed. WINCHESTER MODEL12 release trigger guard assemblies with non functioning safeties; first 2 by Spears (noted for quality and service) and last 2 of unknown source. 1). Very good with polished parts and some slight peppery oxidation on guard bow only. 2). Good finish with worn bluing and light peppery oxidation. Marked "BX" by guard screw. 3). Good plus finish with high edge wear. Fitted with gold toned "E6P" marked trigger shoe. Marked "EI" by guard screw. 4). Similar to #3 with most finish loss on edges of guard bow. Missing safety switch. Unreadable marking by guard screw. REMINGTON release trigger assemblies: 5). Model 870; Spears modified having near excellent appearance. Safety filled with brass rod. Fitted with grooved steel trigger shoe. Blued lifter and black anodized housing. 6). Model 870; unknown modifier with housing void of finish on exterior (natural aluminum appearance) except inside guard bow. Plated lifter and empty safety location. Model 1100; near excellent appearance with brass rod filling safety hole. Modified by Spears and fitted with grooved "H9 P" marked steel trigger shoe. Blued lifter with plated latch. 8). Model 1100 similar to #7 but unknown modifier, operable factory safety and no trigger shoe. WINCHESTER SUPER X1 PARTS (All near excellent unless noted): 9 & 10). Complete standard (non-release) trigger housing assemblies; very good to excellent and very good (thinning finish). 11). 2 Bolt slide links. 12). 2 Firing pins. 13). 2 Cocking handles. 14). 2 Return spring followers. 15). 2 Piston heads. 16). 1 Piston sleeve. 17). 1 Piston rod with spring.PROVENANCE: Norman Olliff Estate.
