Left quarter flat of the octagonal bbl. is marked with H&R's mfg. information, with "H. & R. 922" marked on the left side. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall, save for on the hammer, which exhibits a case colored finish. Frame is mounted with 2-piece checkered wood grips. Large fixed half-moon brass blade front sight with square frame notched rear sight. Cyl. matches the frame via "222". Interior of grips are marked "497". UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: factory cardboard box. CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting some light to mild edge wear, as well as scattered spots of light to mild surface oxidation overall. Top of rear grip strap exhibits a patch of light surface oxidation. Hammer retains strong case coloring, with wear at contact point, some wear on the sides, as well as some scattered spots of light surface oxidation. Bright bore, retaining strong rifling throughout. Proper manual mechanics. Grips show scattered marks and impressions from handling and storage, but otherwise remain sound. Box shows moderate exterior wear, with several tears present overall.
