Cal. 38 Spl. S# 123817. Bbl. 3" pinned. Ramped serrated blade front sight. Fixed rear sight. 1957 made Pre-36 Chief's Special Revolver with flat latch. 5-shot cyl. Blued finish with case colored hammer & trigger. Checkered walnut diamond center grips with silver S&W medallions. Right grip panel is numbered "123818" likely a factory error. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: matching numbered correct box in fair condition. CONDITION: grips show light handling wear. Hammer & trigger retain most of their case colors with light operational wear. Balance of metal retains 98% original blue with some light edge wear & handling marks. Action functions properly when hand cycled. Bright near excellent bore.
