Lot 2221 RUGER STAINLESS BICENTENNIAL OLD ARMY REVOLVER.
Cal. 45 (.457"). S# 7437. Bbl. 7 1/2" with pinned blued serrated blade in ramped stainless base; frame mounted black adjustable rear sight. Mfg. 1976 (1975-2009) as KBP7 with oiled walnut grips having silver eagle medallions. No "warning marks" on barrel (initiated 1977). Highly regarded black powder revolver known for its quality and durability. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: very good plus Triple K hunter style holster marked "310 / BP10". Size is too small for the model as strap will not engage and revolver will not fully seat into the holster. CONDITION: general good appearance but it has not been properly maintained during its history. There are black spotty areas on the exterior being most notable on the unexposed areas of the hammer as is often the case when not fully maintained and cleaned. Chambers in cylinder look very good. Bore has even light to moderate pitting throughout even after brush scrubbing. Appearance would likely improve with more cleaning in the style of your choice to perhaps warrant a glass beaded matte finish. Mechanically it is near excellent. (01-28937/NW). ANTIQUE. $350-500.
