Cal. 357 Mag. S# 2346. Bbl. 4 5/8" with early front sight having wave patterned blade integral to narrow ramped base (also having wave pattern) plus frame mounted Micro adjustable rear sight. Index marked elevation screw. Mfg. 1956 (1955-1962) as BKH-34 with standard Type 1 features of flat topped cylinder frame, small serrated ejector rod head, steel offset long throw ejector housing, capped base pin latch plus XR3 alloy grip frame with factory checkered hard rubber grips having black eagle medallions. Six groove barrel has Southport address without eagle logo or "INC."; eagle logo on cylinder frame. Original lock work without factory safety update. Right side of cylinder frame has some light plum toned "lightening marks" that was relatively common on the earliest models due to the silicon content of the steel alloy that was used. CONDITION: very good plus original finish with very slight areas of high point thinning and a very small faint mark on top of cylinder frame. Very nice grips with black eagle medallions; left grip has a slight brown tone. Near excellent bore. (26-1047/NW). CURIO. $650-900.
