Cal. 22 S, L or LR. S# NSN. Bbl. 24" (1964 only) having black alloy "shark fin" blade front sight; blued with adjustable rear sight. Mfg. June 1964 (1962-1964; 22,423 units) as nylon version of earlier Model 511 (magazine feed) having chromed trigger and bolt handle (flat modern shape). Mohawk Brown nylon stock has checkered panels plus white diamonds on sides at action area. Model designation is molded into the grip cap. Receiver grooved to facilitate scope mounting. Normal barrel length was 19 5/8"; very few made with longer barrel which yields a premium. MAGS: 1 factory 6 rd. CONDITION: very good plus bluing with spot of loss on right side of barrel near front sight. Stock is generally very good with some very light handling marks. Very minimal finish loss on front sight.
