Lot 2097 RARE REMINGTON NYLON 76 LEVER ACTION RIFLE.

Cal. 22 LR. S# NSN. Bbl. 19 5/8" having black alloy "shark fin" blade front sight; blued with adjustable rear sight incorporated into the front section of its receiver cover having integral grooves for scope mounting. Mfg. August 1962 (1962-1964; 25,312 units) as the only lever action firearm ever made by Remington. Mohawk Brown nylon stock has checkered panels plus white diamonds on forend. Model designation is molded into the grip cap. Initial advertising by Remington referred to the Nylon 76 as a "Trail Rider" model. CONDITION: good plus overall condition with peppery oxidation and handling marks on receiver cover. Stock is good with numerous light to moderate handling marks. Notable finish loss on front sight.
