Cal. 12 GA, 3". S# 1473946. Bbl. 30". Model 12 pump action shotgun mfg. by Winchester in 1955. Left side of the bbl. is marked with the Winchester trademark logo, followed by the model and cal. designations, as well as a "FULL" choke marking above "FOR SUPER SPEED & SUPER-X 3 IN.". Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall, save for on the bolt assembly, which is polished in-the-white. Grooved wood forearm and pistol grip buttstock with black synthetic spacer and Winchester solid red rubber recoil pad. Aluminum bead front sight. Matching numbers are present on the receiver and receiver extension. CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting some light to mild edge wear, some scattered spots and patches of wear and thinning, scattered superficial handling marks, as well as some scattered spots of light surface oxidation overall. Trigger shows scattered patches of mild surface oxidation. Bore exhibits scattered spots of light to mild surface oxidation, with some areas of hardened firing residue. Proper manual mechanics, save for the safety button, which stuck in the fire position. Wood furniture shows scattered marks and impressions from handling and storage, as well as some mildew spotting, but otherwise remains sound. (25-1414/MLW). CURIO. $200-400.
