Join Wanganui Safaris, a family-run outfitting operation with nearly 40 years of experience, for an unforgettable 5-day/4-night, 2x1 Red Stag hunting adventure for one hunter and one non-hunter on New Zealand’s North Island.
This package includes the trophy fee for one Red Stag scoring up to 350" SCI.
Wanganui Safaris’ exquisite lodge is set in the heart of 10,000 private acres, bordered by more than 250,000 acres of untouched national forest. Guests will enjoy breathtaking views, premium accommodations, exceptional hospitality, and world-class fair-chase hunting.
Method of take: rifle, archery, or black powder.
This hunt is available February–July in 2027, 2028, or 2029. Prime dates from February–April are subject to additional terms and conditions; please see outfitter prior to auction for details. The package may be upgraded to include additional species such as fallow deer, elk, rusa, boar, chamois, tahr, and wallaby at the current price list.
Once your trophy is harvested, the adventure continues with additional opportunities to help cull fallow does and small game, including possums, rabbits, and more. Additional hunters are welcome at current rates, and additional non-hunters are welcome at $1,500 per person ($300 p/day).
Included: field preparation, round-trip transportation from Whanganui Airport, first-class lodge accommodations with ensuite bath, professional guide service, all taxes and fees, maid/laundry service, Wi-Fi, beverages including beer, wine, and full bar, and all meals.
Not included: Dip and pack service, transportation to shipper, taxidermy, international and domestic airfare, rifle rental at $200 per person if needed, and gratuities.
