Lot 11 BANKS ISLAND TUNDRA TOUR IS OFFERING A 4 DAY HUNT FOR 1 HUNTER
This is a Muskox hunt. The hunter can choose his/her dates for the 4 days between August 24 and October 1, 2026.
This hunt will take place on Banks Island, located in the Northwest Territories, Canada, it holds the largest concentration of Muskox, with population estimates historically exceeding 68,000. These Arctic herbivores are a vital part of the local Inuit culture in Sachs Harbor, providing food and qiviut(wool). Roughly two-thirds of the world’s population is found on Banks Island.
Travel and departure point is Sachs Harbor NWT. Hunter’s choice firearm or bow but must obtain a firearm permit. Harvest fee $356.00 and tag $48.00
Accommodation is tent and cabin. Other fees that may be incurred by the hunter are gratuity, shipping, dipping, and packing.
