The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has selected the California Wild Sheep Foundation to auction its Multi‑Zone elk fundraising license tag. This is a chance to take a world class trophy, skipping the line to draw a tag which is often 20 years or more and practically never guaranteed.
This unique tag gives you the opportunity to hunt any of three different Elk Species! All in hard-to-draw areas including
* North West - Roosevelt Elk
* North East - Rocky Mountain Elk
* Siskiyou - Rocky Mountain Elk
* Marble - Roosevelt and Rocky Mountain Elk
* La Panza - Tule Elk
Includes:
* CDFW Multi‑Zone Elk Tag
* Ability to hunt multiple elk species including Tule and Roosevelt in designated elk zones
* Full eligibility under CDFW regulations
* Standard CDFW season structure and hunt windows
Excludes:
* Guide services, scouting, or outfitter fees
* Travel, lodging, meals, and field expenses
* Weapon, gear, and personal equipment
* Tag transfer (non‑transferable unless allowed by CDFW)
* Any additional permits, validations, or requirements beyond standard CDFW regulations
* Processing, taxidermy, or transport of harvested elk
