^Lot 1628 U.S. Army WW2 Pack Frame & Bed Roll.

Vintage WWII US Army OD plywood and canvas pack board (pack frame), commonly dated 1944-1945, C-18424-5. Used to carry a radio pack and other field gear such as artillery rounds, ammo boxes, etc. It comes with multiple metal holes for the rope on the sides plus several openings on the back which gave the soldier many ways to attach different items. The upper section of the pack is ink stamped with the manufacturer’s maker "American Seating Co. 01C-18424-5" and dated 3-15-45. reverse embossed with "U.S." Unissued condition, complete with canvas shoulder straps, two metal shelves, spare rope and the original instructions. Also comes with complete U.S. Army Olive drab, canvas bed roll stamped "U.S. with both liners. Both items in excellent condition
