The American made MR-15 is an AR-15 type receiver constructed of 6061-T6 aircraft grade aluminum that is finished with the proper Mil-8625 Type III class 2, hard-coat anodizing. Manufactured in Wayland, MI. The MR-15 is a billet receiver that sports a traditional open trigger guard allowing for your choice of trigger guard. They are marked with the Menke trademark, and are also marked 'SAFE' and 'SEMI' around the selector. 1) Menke, MR-15, #1097 Receiver is marked 'Multi.' 2) Menke, MR-15, #1119 Receiver is marked 'Multi.' The original matte black anodizing retained is approximately 99% (on both) with nothing remarkable.
