Lot 1566 Italian 1860 Army .44 Cal #E45012

Italian replica of the Colt Model 1860 Army six-shot percussion revolver manufactured circa 1996. It features an 8" round blued barrel with brass blade front sight, rear sight notched on hammer, and six-round blued non-fluted and rebated cylinder with naval engagement engraving. Shoulder stock provisions are cut into the recoil shield, the bottom of the grip, and there are screws on the sides of the frame for mounting. Color-case hardened frame, hammer, and loading lever. The pistol comes with a brass triggerguard, and smooth hardwood grips. The revolver possesses Italian proof marks. Bore appears good with strong rifling, but it is dirty. The cylinders are also in very good condition. Wood grips are excellent with light handling marks. The blued finish retained is about 96%, with minor scratches, and muzzle wear. The brass is good with a couple marks on the triggerguard, and one on the right side of the frame. No remarkable losses to the case hardening. The action is crisp and tight. Matching serial numbers on frame and cylinder. There is some damage to the muzzle crown that looks like chipping.
Condition is NRA Very Good.
