^Lot 1493 Lyman Great Plains Rifle .50 Cal #304993

Made in Italy by Pedersoli for Lyman. Reproduction black powder percussion plains rifle chambered for .50 caliber ammunition. Features a heavy 33" plum colored octagonal barrel marked "Middlefield, Conn", large blade front sight, dovetailed semi buckhorn fixed sight, case hardened lock, brass tipped wooden ramrod, double set triggers, and one piece straight grip shoulder stock with cheek rest & crescent metal buttplate. Top barrel flat drilled/tapped for optics (No filler screws) Rifle is overall very good condition. Two-cock hammer action is sound, rifled bore looks excellent, dusty and wood stock is fine.
