Don Greene custom Flintlock Kentucky Rifle. Don Greene of Staunton, VA passed away in 2015 at the age of 86. Beautiful tiger striped maple stocked rifle features a 42" heavy octagon barrel, German silver front sight blade, fixed notch rear, barrel flat signed "D. Greene" in script, brass tipped wooden ramrod, double set trigger. The stock features a blued escutcheon opposite the lock, elongated brass star escutcheon on the cheek rest and a matching striped maple sliding door to the patch box with a relief carved leaf with button to push to open it. The two-cock hammer action performs well, the stock is excellent and the rifled bore is excellent/bright.
