^Lot 1446 Essex Arms Corp. 1911A1 .22 LR. #51198

American made semi-automatic rimfire pistol built on an Essex 1911 style frame, and using a Jonathan Arthur Ciener conversion kit. The frame was manufactured in Island Pond, VT. Pistol features matte blued finish, a 5" barrel, fixed blade front sight, dovetailed square notched rear sight, full-length metal guide rod, serrated curved adjustable trigger, spur type hammer with wide checkered spur, arched serrated mainspring housing, serrated frame mounted thumb safety, smooth grip safety, serrated push-button magazine release, and checkered two-piece hardwood USGI type grips. The original blued finish retained is approximately 97% with light scattered scratches, minimal edge losses, and a few scattered nicks. Metal displays no rust or deformation. Bore is bright with strong rifling, and the grips are very good with light handling blemishes. The action is smooth and crisp.
