^Lot 1427 North African Jezail Flintlock Rifle .45 Cal.

North African/ Moroccan Miquelet Lock Jezail Musket, circa late 1700’s. 71 3/4 o/a length with 56 3/4” octagon approx. .45 smoothbore barrel with maker cartouches at breech and the original front and rear sights barrel has 27 thin metal bands. "Club Foot" butt with large flared butt plate. Brass barrel bands. All original. Nice old metal patina. Stock with the old dark original finish. Two-cock lock does not hold, has all the original lock parts. Original metal tipped ramrod. Most of the black leather covering the butt stock is gone.
