^Lot 1376 Smith & Wesson .38 Safety Hammerless .38 S&W

SN: 192987. '4th Model' Vintage double-action-only top-break concealed hammer revolver. Manufactured 1898-1907. Features high polish blued finish, ribbed 3 1/4" barrel, pinned round blade front sight, 'u' notch rear sight cut in the raised portion of the barrel catch, push down barrel latch, fluted five-shot cylinder with automatic extractor, case hardened smooth crescent trigger, knurled grip safety and diamond checkered hard rubber grips molded S&W monograms. serial numbers matched on heel. cylinder & barrel latch. Bore is overall very good condition/bright with a couple of patches of very light pitting near the muzzle. Revolver retains approximately 80% blue finish, showing edge/handling wear on the straps, many light scratches/dings, grips are very good, good functional condition, case color is visible on the trigger.
