Lot 1360 Ruger Single-Six 'Flatgate' .22 LR.

'Flatgate, Three-Screw' model, an American made single-action six-round revolver chambered for .22 Long Rifle, manufactured circa 1955 in Southport, CT. Revolver features a blued finish, a 5.5" round barrel, serrated fixed blade front sight, dovetailed square-notched rear sight, fluted cylinder, flat loading gate, serrated ejector rod button, collard cylinder pin head, external two-toned hammer with serrated spur, smooth grip straps, internal firing pin, and two-piece checkered hard rubber grips with silver-toned Ruger medallions. The original blued finish retained is approximately 88% with holster wear losses on the barrel and on the ejector rod housing, thinning on the grip straps, and light scattered scratches. Metal displays no deformation, but shows light rust spots on the hammer and cylinder. Grips are very good with light scattered nicks and scratches, and the right panel medallion has lost some of the black coloring on the phoenix. Action is smooth and crisp with a tight lock-up. Bore is bright with strong rifling, and the cylinder chambers are also excellent. Revolver includes brown leather Bianchi 'Cross Draw' holster.
Condition is NRA Good.
