^Lot 1320 Smith & Wesson Model 4013 .40 S&W #TZH9480

American made DA/SA semi-auto pistol chambered for .40 Smith & Wesson ammunition, manufactured from 1991-1995 in Springfield, MA. Pistol features a 3-1/2" barrel, dovetailed fixed blade front sight with white dot, dovetailed Novak Lo-Mount fixed rear sight with white dots, smooth curved trigger, bobbed hammer with serrated hammer spur, full-length metal guide rod, anodized aluminum frame, checkered front strap, checkered push-button magazine release, serrated slide mounted ambidextrous manual safety/decocker, stainless steel slide, extended beavertail, and two-piece black checkered Xenoy grips with S&W insignia and logo. The light grey anodized aluminum finish retained is approximately 98% with edge wear, and small nicks on the beavertail. The matte stainless finish is excellent with superficial scratches. Metal displays no rust or deformation. Grip panels are excellent with light scratches and handling marks on the right side. Bore is bright with strong rifling, but it appears the previous owner was shooting lead cast bullets. There is fouling in the bore that can be removed, and we removed a lot of the fouling to verify that it was lead deposits. The action is smooth and crisp.
