"JM" marked barrel. Lever action rifle, very similar to the model 336. Features blued finish, 20" barrel, blade/bead front sight, rear sight removed, steel insert in dovetail, adjustable sliding Williams peep sight installed on receiver, 2/3 length magazine tube, walnut stocks with pressed checkered panels with stag, oak leave motifs at curved wrist & forearm, off set hammer spur extension. Bore is excellent/bright with strong rifling. Retains 70% blue with handling wear/finish loss on the lower barrel, edge wear, scratches, there is scattered patches of light pitting on the receiver and lever. Wood is good/sound with a many scratches/dings. Brown leather sling attached. manufactured 1969.
