^Lot 1089 Beaumont-Vitali 1871/88 11.3mm #397

Dutch military magazine-fed bolt action service rifle chambered in 11.3x51Rmm, manufactured in Netherlands circa 1883. Features a 32.7" barrel, dovetailed blade front sight, graduated rear sight to 1,800 meters, cleaning rod, 4 round integral magazine with cut-off lever on left side of the receiver, large pear shaped bolt handle, sling swivels and full-length straight grip shoulder stock with smooth metal buttplate. Serial numbers are matching on the receiver, rear sight, bolt assembly(in 3 places) & follower, and another set of matching numbers "647" can be found on the barrel & buttplate. Dutch proofs, and a 1883 dated cartouche on buttstock. Buttplate tang dated 1889. The metal surfaces are in the white, with scattered areas of spots of rust pitting and scattered spots of dark gray patina. Bore is bright with rifling present, action is smooth, wood is overall very good with minor scratches/dings.
