American made semi-automatic striker-fired pistol chambered for 9x19mm Luger, manufactured in Springfield, MA. The M&P9 2.0 is the second generation of Smith & Wesson's M&P line which was introduced to the market in 2017. Upgraded trigger, ergonomics, and grip texturing are some of the noted improvements over the original M&P9. Pistol features a 'Black Armornite' stainless steel slide, a 5" barrel, dovetail tritium fixed blade front sight, dovetailed tritium rear sight, picatinny accessory rail on the dust cover, upgraded flat-faced trigger, integral trigger safety, undercut trigger guard, push-button magazine release, serrated take-down lever, flat recoil spring with a full-length metal guide rod, loaded chamber indication with a viewing port at the chamber, ambidextrous serrated slide lock, sixteen-round magazines, interchangeable backstraps, and black polymer grip module with S&W's stippled type texturing. The top of the slide is engraved 'M&P SPEC SERIES' inside of a shield. Pistol retains approximately 99% of its Armornite finish with nothing remarkable. Metal displays no rust or deformation. Bore is bright with strong rifling, and the polymer frame is in excellent condition. The action is smooth and crisp. Pistol includes original factory black foam lined hard-case, two magazines total, two extra interchangeable backstrap inserts, cable lock, and manual.
