Lot 1027 Winchester Model 75 .22 LR #51226

American made bolt action rimfire target rifle chambered in .22 Long Rifle manufactured circa 1947 in New Haven, CT. It features a blued finish, hardwood semi-pistol grip stock with a smooth wrist and forearm, checkered steel buttplate, 28 1/8" barrel, left receiver mounted Redfield rear micrometer peep sight, globe front sight, detachable 5 round Winchester magazine with release button in left side of stock, serrated manual safety, smooth curved trigger, turned-down bolt handle, and sling swivels in forend and buttstock. The rifle retains approximately 98% blued finish with superficial scratches, and light edge wear. The metal shows a very tiny spot of rust on the barrel a little more than half way towards the muzzle on the right side, and some rust on the right side of the front sight. Stock is excellent considering the age with minor scratches and dings. The action is smooth and crisp. The bore is bright with strong rifling. Markings are sharp and even depth. Includes one magazine total, and a M1907 type brown leather sling (attached). This would be an excellent rifle if the small amount of rust was not observed.
Condition is NRA Good.
