'The .38 Regulation Police' Small frame double action revolver chambered in 38 Smith & Wesson, manufactured circa 1961-68. Features a blued finish, case colored hammer & trigger, pinned 4" barrel with matted sighting rib, serrated ramp front sight, square notched rear sight, non-shrouded ejector rod, fluted five-shot cylinder, serrated .240" trigger, .240" serrated hammer, three screw round butt J frame and two-piece diamond checkered walnut Magna grips with silver S&W medallions. Revolver retains approximately 75% of it's original blued finish showing holster wear/scratches, tracking on the cylinder, handling wear to the straps and some very light scattered patina. Action is smooth with very good lock up, the bore is excellent/bright and the matching wood grips show some handling wear, a couple of minor dings. Comes with a Hunter brown leather snap holster.
