Vintage Winchester lever-action manufactured in 1942. a total of 66,783 were produced 1933-57. Standard Winchester markings including the factory proof on top of the barrel and receiver. Equipped with a blade/bead front sight mounted on a ramp with a removable, rear sight removed with steel insert in dovetail, vintage Redfield 102 BR peep sight installed on left receiver. Two thirds tubular type magazine with 5 cartridge capacity. Smooth American walnut pistol grip stock, and forearm and a checkered steel buttplate. 24" round barrel. Bore is excellent/bright, action is crisp/smooth, original blue finish is about 97% with very minor edge wear/scratches, wood is excellent.
