SN: NN290181. "H&R 1871 Handi-Rifle" refers to the modern line of single-shot rifles produced by New England Firearms after the original H&R went out of business. Modular break-open single-shot rifle with a .45-70 chambered barrel. Features a blued receiver, matte barrel, 22" medium-contour barrel with recessed crown with ramped blade front and micro adjustable square notch rear sights, barrel drilled/tapped for optics, smooth trigger, schnabel wood forend and semi-pistol grip shoulder stock with factory vented recoil pad, right side of stock has inletted brass disk reading "H&R 1871 Limited Edition". Rifle retains approximately 95% of its finish showing scattered handling marks/scratches. Barrel locks-up tight, the bore is excellent/bright, wood stocks are very good/sound with some handling loss to the finish. Comes with factory box with matching label, manual. Box has some water staining.
