Sporterized U.S. military contract bolt action service rifle chambered in .30-06 Springfield, manufactured in 1943. Features a blurd finish, unmarked 23" barrel without provisions for sights, turned down bolt handle, manual three-position safety, smooth trigger, internal box magazine with stamped metal floorplate, magazine cut-off switch, swivel studs, and contoured walnut pistol grip shoulder stock with right handed cheek rest, contrasting forearm tip & grip cap, vented recoil pad. Rifle exhibits approximately 90% of it's blue refinish showing some light scuffs/scratches, handling wear on the bottom metal.
