Lot 930 High Standard Sport King 'Lightweight' .22 LR #687

'100 Series,' an American made vintage single-action semi-automatic target blowback pistol chambered in .22 Long Rifle, manufactured circa 1954-1957 in Hamden, CT. Pistol features a matte & polished blued finish, 4 1/2" round barrel, serrated ramped fixed blade front sight, dovetailed fixed square notched rear sight, serrated wide curved trigger, internal hammer, serrated thumb safety on the left side of the frame, serrated slide stop on the right side of the frame, serrated heel magazine release, factory 10 round magazines, steel frame with smooth grip straps, and two-piece partially checkered faux wood synthetic grips with Hi-Standard insignias. The original blued finish retained is approximately 88% with slight thinning on the grip straps, edge wear, and light scattered scratches. Metal displays no deformation, but there is small spots of observed rust on the slide and right side of the barrel. The action is smooth and crisp, and the faux wood grips are very good to excellent with a few minor blemishes. Bore is bright with strong rifling, but it is a little dirty towards the muzzle.
