Lot 920 Browning B-S/S 12 GA #3913A47
Double barrel box-lock side-by-side shotgun chambered for 3" 12 gauge shells, assembled in Korea with Japanese parts circa 1974. Imported by Browning Arms Co, Morgan UT. It features a blued finish, 30" barrels, 'F' left bore and 'IC' right bore (measured with drop-in gauge), single silver colored smooth curved trigger, serrated sliding tang safety, ejectors, and steel bead front sight. The receiver, barrel, trigger guard, barrel, and top lever display a limited coverage of scroll and floral engravings with edge patterns. The walnut furniture consists of a semi-pistol grip shoulder stock with checkering at the wrist, checkered beavertail forend, deeley forend latch, a finely textured Browning plastic buttplate. The stock dimensions are approximately 1 5/8" drop at comb, 2 1/2" drop at heel, and a 14 3/8" length-of-pull. Bores are bright and shiny, and the action is tight on face with the top lever resting slightly right of center. The original blued finish retained is approximately 96% with a few small scattered scratches and some very light rust/pitting on the ribs/barrels. Furniture wood is Very Good with mostly minor blemishes, some dents to the left side of the trigger guard, and a spot of finish loss at the rear of the forend.
