Lot 900 Italian O/U 12 GA #127523
Italian made over/under box-lock shotgun chambered in 3" 12 Gauge shells, manufactured circa 1985. There are no observed manufacturing logos or names other than the buttplate. The buttplate has a bullseye symbol which has been observed on Falco shotguns, but there is not enough evidence to make the claim that this is a Falco shotgun. Featuring blued finished 26" barrels, vented rib, brass bead front sight, 'M' top bore and 'IC' bottom bore, single silver-toned smooth curved trigger, extractor, serrated sliding tang safety, and checkered top lever. The barrels, trigger guard, and top lever are blued with the receiver bearing a silver finish. The receiver displays full coverage of scroll, and a water fowl scene on all three sides. There is also edge engravings on the receiver and the chamber areas of the barrels. Walnut furniture consists of a semi-pistol grip shoulder stock with checkering at the wrist, a checkered forend, 14 1/4" length-of-pull, deeley latch forend release, and a black plastic checkered buttplate. The original blued finish retained is approximately 92% with very light handling marks, and scratches. The receiver shows no finish loss. Metal shows scattered light rust throughout the barrels/rib and on the top tang. Bores are bright and shiny, and the action is smooth and crisp.
