Vintage lever-action rifle manufactured in 1915. Rare caliber model 99 in .250-3000 Savage. Rifle has been refinished. Features a solid frame with a pistol grip and a Schnabel-tipped forend, reblued finish, checkered walnut forend & curved wrist shoulder stock with non-factory thin rubber bottplate, 22" tapered barrel, raised bead/blade front sight, semi buckhorn adjustable rear sight, fixed rotary magazine with brass cartridge counter, lever lock, cocking indicator. Tang drilled/tapped for sight. Bore is very good/bright, strong rifling. Retains about 92% old reblued finish, with handling marks, edge losses,the reblued lever has some handling loss and some scratches/dings are visible on the refinish on the receiver. Bolt has bright surface. Wood is very good/sound with minor dings/scratches, appears to have been sanded at some point with traces of the checkering on the forearm visible, has been varnished. Action is smooth.
