American made semi-automatic gas-impingement carbine chambered for 7.62x51mm, and manufactured in Geneseo, IL. Rifle features a black anodized finish, a 16" chrome-lined chromoly barrel with a 1:11.25" twist rate, A2 style bird cage flash suppressor, Magpul 'MBUS' adjustable folding back-up sights, smooth curved two-stage trigger, serrated receiver mounted manual safety, spring loaded ejection port cover (spring in wrong orientation for function), T-marked 'flat-top' upper receiver, six-position receiver extension, standard charging handle, annular cut bolt assist, 15" aluminum free-float handguard with rail attachment points and a top picatinney rail (added bottom/front rail segment), standard buffer spring and buffer, shell deflector, OEM green M4 style buttstock, OEM green A2 checkered and finger grooved pistol grip, serrated bolt release paddle, flared magazine well, and annular cut push-button magazine release. The original black anodized finish retained is approximately 97% with light scratches on the barrel, edge wear around the ejection port, and minor losses along the picatinney rail. Metal displays no rust, but there is a small nick on the right side of the magazine well that can be felt. Bore is bright with strong rifling, and the furniture is excellent. The action is smooth and crisp, but the dust cover needs repair. Rifle comes with a single-piece aluminum mount holding a silver colored NcSTAR 3-9x50F scope with a duplex reticle that incorporates windage and elevation markings. Scope is bright and in good working order with slight discoloring. Includes one magazine total.
