^Lot 870 Beretta / PW Arms M91/38 'Carcano' 6.5x52mm

SN: CAR23766. Bolt-Action Italian Army Moschetto Modello 1938 carbine. Adopted by the Fascist Army in 1938. "1938 XVI" indicates that the rifle was manufactured in 1938, which was the 16th year of the Fascist Era in Italy. Barrel stamped with "Beretta Gardone". 18" barrel , folding spike bayonet, blade front sight, Adjustable V-Notch rear sight, integral box magazine, bent bolt handle, manual safety, smooth wood handguard and straight grip shoulder stock with metal buttplate. Original serial number matched on barrel, and stock. Stock appears to have been lightly sanded. Rifle retains approximately 85% finish showing handling wear, action is smooth, bore is overall good/bright, good rifling, lightly frosted. Wood is very good with minor scratches/dings. PW Arms import marked left chamber along with the new serial number. Newer brown leather sling attached. Comes with five 6-rd clips loaded with PPU 6.5 x52 cartridges and a box of 20 PPU FMJ 139 gr. cartridges. Total of 50 rounds.
