'Chiefs Special,' an American made double-action revolver built on the magnum 'J' frame, chambered for .357 Magnum. Manufactured circa 1996 in Springfield, MA. This target variation features a satin stainless finish, 3" serrated ribbed barrel, shrouded ejectore rod, full underlug, pinned serrated ramped blade front sight, micrometer adjustable notched rear sight, smooth curved polished color-case trigger, polished color-case hammer, checkered hammer spur, five-shot fluted cylinder, three-screw round butt magnum 'J' frame, and two-piece black checkered rubber finger grooved grips. The original satin stainless finish retained is approximately 99% with only superficial blemishes, and a drag line on the cylinder. Metal displays no rust or deformation. The rubber grips are in excellent condition. Bore is bright with strong rifling, and the cylinder chambers are excellent. Action is smooth and crisp with a tight lock-up.
