Chinese type 56 semiautomatic rifle, has the mysterious "DP" stamp on the receiver rail. Sources say these rare Chinese stamped DP rifles were produced in 1970-1971. Features blued finish, smooth wood stock & handguard, 20" chrome lined barrel, folding spike bayonet, cleaning rod, protected post front sight, tangent rear sight, manual safety, fixed 10 round magazine. Later style stamped trigger guard. The wood stock has been painted in gloss black. Bore is excellent/bright. Retains 95% finish with handling marks and edge losses. Wood is very good with minor blemishes to the black painted finish. Serial number repeated on bolt carrier, triggerguard, magazine, receiver & receiver cover. Comes in original factory box with manual, oiler & green canvass sling.
