Lot 826 Browning BPS 'Field Model' 20 GA. #52079NY162

Japanese made slide-action shotgun chambered for 3" 20 Gauge shells, manufactured circa 1992. Imported by Browning Arms Company out of Morgan, UT., and Montreal P.Q. This "Field Model" Browning Pump Shotgun (BPS) 'Hunter Grade' features a blued finish, a 28" raised ventilated ribbed barrel, receiver with extended rib segment, accepts Invector choke tubes with Mod choke installed, steel bead front sight, serrated sliding tang safety, dual action rods, bottom ejection, and smooth curved gold-toned trigger. The receiver is engraved on two sides with limited coverage of scrolls and an upland fowl hunting scene, and a gold Browning Buckmark logo is engraved on the trigger guard. The high gloss walnut furniture consists of a semi-pistol grip shoulder stock with checkering at the wrist, a grooved and checkered slide handle, 13" length-of-pull, 1-1/2" drop at comb, 2-1/4" drop at heel, and a Pachmayr brown rubber ventilated recoil pad with black and white spacers. The original blued finish retained is approximately 99% with only superficial blemishes. Wood furniture condition is good with small scratches and dings on the buttstock, and very light scratches and a ding on the forend. Bore looks bright and shiny, and the action is smooth and crisp. This shotgun includes the original black cardboard factory box, manual, two extra choke tubes, and choke wrench.
