Japanese made sidelock side-by-side double barrel shotgun chambered for 2 3/4" 12 Gauge Shells, manufactured circa 1983. Shotgun imported by Browning Arms Company out of Morgan, UT. and Montreal P.Q. Originally produced as a 26" fixed choke gun and subsequently cut to 25.5" & fitted with Briley S-26 thin wall removable chokes. Featuring blued 25 1/2" barrels with smooth concave rib, ejectors, white bead front sight, bores accept choke tubes, with installed chokes the left bore measures 'CYL' and the right bore measures 'CYL' (with drop-in gauge), double smooth curved silver-toned triggers, serrated sliding tang safety, and checkered top lever. The figured walnut furniture consists of a straight grip shoulder stock with checkering at the wrist & un-engraved silver oval escutcheon inlayed on the underside, a checkered splinter forend with an Anson push-button release, 14-1/2" length-of-pull, 1-5/8" drop at comb, 2-1/2" drop at heel, and a black solid rubber Decelerator recoil pad with two black spacers. With the barrels being blued the rest of the metal has a coin finish. The receiver and all of the small components display full coverage of floral scrolls and edge designs, and the designs extend to the barrels. The coin finish remaining is approximately 98% with very small scratches on the receiver, and little elsewhere. The blued finish on the barrels is approximately 97% intact with a little edge wear at the muzzle, light scratches in front of the forend and contact wear from the forend. Additionally there is a very small amount of microscopic pin prick pitting on the barrels only visible with high magnification. Furniture wood condition is excellent with few light scattered dents mostly on the buttstock. Bores look excellent and bright, but can use a cleaning. The action is tight with the top lever resting far right of center. The metal shows no rust, or deformation. Shotgun includes Browning luggage style brown faux leather hard case, and three additional choke tubes (Mod. Lt Mod & Imp Cyl).
