Yugoslavian made bolt action rifle chambered in 8mm Mauser, imported by M.I.A. out of SA. (Sacramento?), CA. The furniture consists of a smooth semi-pistol grip hardwood stock, smooth handguard and forend, sling slot in the buttstock, milled lower band, 'H' style upper barrel band, and smooth steel in-the-white buttplate. The serial numbers match on the receiver, magazine floorplate, stock, and bolt handle. Receiver ring is marker with the Yugoslavian crest and 'M48.' The left receiver rail is marked with a Cyrillic lettered word and the number '44' which translates to 'Factory 44.' Bore is bright with strong rifling.
