Lot 799 Remington Model 32 'Skeet' 12 GA. #4150

High quality American made over & under shotgun chambered for 2 3/4" 12 Gauge shells. Manufactured from 1932 to 1947, with Remington selling roughly 5000-6000 Model 32s. Featuring a blued finish, 26 1/8" barrels with Simmons ventilated rib, fixed chokes measuring Cylinder / Negative with a drop-in gauge, single smooth curved trigger, cross bolt type button barrel selector in front of the trigger, sliding tang safety, selective ejectors, white Bradley bead front sight, and white mid-bead. The walnut furniture consists of a semi-pistol grip shoulder stock with checkering at the wrist, checkered and grooved forend with serrated deeley latch release, and solid brown rubber recoil pad with black spacer. Length-of-pull measures 13.5" with a 1-1/2" drop at comb, and a 2-1/4" drop at the heel. Receiver displays limited coverage of a roll stamped hunting dog scene on both sides. Receiver, barrels, and forend have matching serial numbers, '4150'. Bores are good condition, but look dirty. The blued finish retained is approximately 80-85% with the barrels refinished showing scattered scratches and wear/thinned finish on the receiver which has turned plum. Furniture hardwood is in good condition with scattered minor scratches, dings, and the finish was not professionally applied/refinished. Action opens easily with solid lock-up and the top lever resting far right of center. This shotgun includes a brown Browning faux leather hard case.
