Lot 789 Winchester Model 94 .30 W.C.F. #900205

American made vintage lever action repeating rifle chambered in .30 Winchester Center Fire, manufactured circa 1920 in New Haven, CT. 'Pre-64, featuring a blued finish, 20" tapered barrel, 3/4-length tube magazine, Lyman blade front sight with ivory bead, Marbles adjustable rear buckhorn sight, smooth curved trigger, exposed hammer with checkered spur, grip safety, top ejection, sling swivel in buttstock, and a single barrel band with sling swivel. The walnut furniture consists of a smooth forend, smooth straight grip shoulder stock, and smooth crescent metal buttplate. Rifle has been nicely refinished, and exhibits approximately 96% of its blued finish remaining with superficial scratches, and thinning on the buttplate. The bolt was left in-the-white and jeweled during the refinish, it has since lightly rusted. Action is smooth and crisp. The bore appears frosty with strong rifling. The wood furniture is good with several minor scratches and scuffs, and the buttstock has a 3/4" hairline crack behind the top tang.
Condition is NRA Good as refinished.
