'The Authentic Colt Black Powder Series' 2nd generation reproduction of the Colt 1862 Pocket Police. A single action percussion revolver chambered for .36 caliber ammunition, and manufactured circa 1979-1984. It features a 5 1/2" round barrel, brass cone front sight, “V” notched rear sight cut in the hammer nose, checkered hammer spur, three screw side plate, smooth curved trigger, and a fluted five shot rebated cylinder. The bore, rifling, and cylinder are in excellent condition. The trigger guard and backstrap are silver plated and are in excellent condition. A color-case hardened frame, hammer, and loading lever are also in excellent condition. The blued finish on the barrel and cylinder retain approximately 99% of their finish with superficial blemishes, and a faint drag line on the cylinder. This revolver is fitted with a single piece varnished walnut grip. The barrel is marked with the single line 'Colt' address. The left side plate is marked "Colts Patent," and the left flat of trigger guard is marked "36 cal." This revolver is in like new condition. The action is smooth and crisp, but needs a cleaning because of hardened oil residue. It includes the original box with form fitted foam lining, and instruction manual/paperwork.
